Discover the transformative power of exosomes and stem cells in advancing regenerative medicine and enhancing brain function.

Why Exsomes

You may have heard of stem cells before, but most people are not familiar with exosomes. Exosomes are tiny extracellular vesicles acting as cellular messengers, transferring proteins, lipids, and genetic material to modulate cellular behavior, immune response, and regeneration. While used primarily for regenerativemedicine and skin care, they are not widely FDA approved for injection.

Let’s discuss more about stem cells. Every person has stem cells in their own bodies, more so when they are babies, younger children and gradually reducing throughout the aging process. At age 70, I probably have 1-2% of the stem cells I did when I was a baby. The stem cells congregate around the lymphatics and capillaries. They are sending exosomes out to the cells. When I was age 50, I had my own stem cells harvested from my iliac crest and from fat on the love handles and mixed with my blood and injected into my shoulder the day after I had a rotator cuff tear surgery. The surgery ws onWednesday. The stem cells were pt in on Thusrday. Instead of being in a sling for 5 weeks and only able to swing my arm back and forth along my side during this time, I was able to return to work the following Monday, abandoned the sling in 10 days, and had 80% normal ROM back in 10 days. It still took time to get strong butthe healing was accelerated by 3-4x faster. I am too old to use my own stem cells now.

In today’s world, most people are getting stem cells from the umbilical cord of a baby whose mother was scheduled for a C-Section. The mothers are screened very carefully to make sure they are healthy. Companies spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to screen the mothers for HIV and other diseases.

The stem cells are harvested from the stem cells and they are grown in labs in ideal conditions where they replicate. So now we have second generation stem cells, third generations, 4 th generations, and so on. After multiple replications the chances for an occasional glitch increases. The stem cells contain DNA so there is the potential of another person’s corrupted DNA to be placed into the reciver’s bodyand side effects could occur.

However, in the case of the exosome produced by these stem cells there is no DNA, only RNA, so no potential for negative side effects.

Regarding stem cells and the brain, it is important to understand that the stem cells are too large to pass through the blood brain barrier unless they are injected into the cerebral spinal fluid via a spinal tap.

This procedure has potential complications as well. Conversely, the exosomes produced by the stem cells are small enough to pass intra-nasally through nebulization. Research demonstrates in both animal and human models that significant positive changes occur after theintroduction of intranasal exosomes to the brain of traumatic injury, post stroke, or autistic individuals. This is truly exciting and life changing!

Exosome Therapy Advantages

Non-Invasive Treatment

Exosome therapies offer a non-invasive alternative to traditional stem cell treatments, eliminating the need for surgical procedures.

Enhanced Cellular Communication

Exosomes facilitate superior cellular communication, promoting efficient healing and regeneration.

No DNA Transfer Risk

Unlike stem cells, exosomes contain no DNA, reducing the risk of adverse reactions or genetic complications.

Rapid Recovery

Patients experience faster recovery times, allowing them to return to daily activities sooner.

Versatile Application

Exosome therapies can be applied to a variety of conditions, from skin rejuvenation to neurological recovery.

Safe and Effective

With rigorous screening processes, exosome treatments are both safe and effective for diverse patient needs.

What Our Patients Say
