As a Step Up Provider, we proudly offer programs supported by Florida’s Family Empowerment Scholarships, giving families a pathway to exceptional educational support.

Scholarships for Unique Abilities

For children with unique abilities, The Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA) provides an average of $10,400 per year, which can be directed toward essential educational resources such as:

• Private school tuition
• Pre-K programs
• Instructional materials
• Therapists and specialists
• Tutoring and home education support
• College savings accounts and much more

This scholarship allows families to tailor their child’s educational experience, ensuring support in every area they need to thrive.

Scholarships for Educational Options

In addition, The Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO) and the Florida Tax Credit (FTC) Scholarship Program offer scholarships averaging $8,000 annually for private school tuition, books, and more, providing more options and flexibility for students from all backgrounds.

Eligibility Prioritization

These scholarships prioritize families who meet the following criteria:

• Household income below 400% of the federal poverty level (e.g., a family of four with an income up to $120,000 per year)
• Students in foster care or out-of-home care
• Homeless children
• All K-12 Florida residents are eligible, regardless of household income, ensuring every child has a path to quality education.

A Customized Approach for Children with Unique Abilities

Every child is unique, and for children with specific diagnoses, learning environments need to adapt to their distinct needs. Saving Your Brain is here to provide an inclusive, nurturing space designed with these students in mind. The FES-UA scholarship offers support for children with diagnoses including but not limited to:

• Down Syndrome
• Traumatic Brain Injury
• Intellectual Disabilities
• Visual and Hearing Impairments
